Tapered flagpoles are thicker at the base of the pole in order to create the sturdiest pole possible. 3" base diameter at the base of the pole tapers up to 2" at the top. Maximum recommended sustainable wind speed is 35 mph. Maintenance-free high-strength 18 gauge anodized aluminum resists corrosion and rusting. Full kit includes 3"gold aluminum ball ornament, cast aluminum pulley system, rope with two nylon flag snaps, nylon rope cleat with mounting screws, 20" heavy duty plastic ground sleeve, and 5-section flagpole.

All of our flagpoles are designated by 'above-ground' height. The actual length includes an additional 10% of the length of the pole to place in the ground.
